DECEPTIONAL PRACTICES

Kyle Morris, 26, of the 8100 block at 45, Lyon, was charged with theft by deception on April 18 after investigating a fraudulent transaction involving an alleged Rolex watch sold at a retail store in 100s in October 2022 -block of Skokie Boulevard, police said. He was also charged with possession of cannabis between 500 and 2000 grams.

BREAK-IN OF CAR

About $17,000 in plumbing equipment was stolen April 19 from a 2019 Mercedes Benz Sprinter van parked on the 800 block of Westwood Lane, police said.

THEFT

A flag was stolen from a courtyard of an apartment building on the 600 block of Central Avenue on April 25, police said. The flag is valued at $50.00.

A hybrid bicycle was reported stolen from a shop in the 600 block of Green Bay Road on April 20 after a person took it for a test ride and failed to return it, police said. The bike was valued at $790.00.

arrest warrant

Dejala Branch, 23, of the 9400 block of S. Wentworth Avenue, Chicago, was arrested April 24 on an outstanding Willowbrook warrant after being stopped at the 1500 block of Birchwood Avenue, police said. She was turned over to the Willowbrook Police Department.
