CENTRAL, La. (BRPROUD) – A tree trimmer has been rescued after becoming stuck 40 feet up in a tree on Greenwell Springs Road on Friday.
The central fire department said the tree cutter was unable to move due to a cut in his leg from a chainsaw. The East Side Fire Department responded with a ladder truck, and the St. George Fire Department roped in.
Firefighters said the ladder truck was able to save the tree trimmer and they were lowered to the ground where emergency services were waiting. The tree trimmer was taken to the hospital via Acadian Air Med.
