PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) — A portion of Dupont Road (WV 892) will be closed during the day beginning March 1 for tree felling.
According to the WV Division of Highways, District 3, the road north of where Wood County Route 11 meets New England Ridge Road will be closed for about a half-mile.
Dangerous trees along the road are removed during the day from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
The dismantling and the road closure will only take place during the day. Drivers are asked to use the detour to WV 68.
Bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances may change the length of the project. The project is scheduled to be completed on March 3rd.
