Wind gusts tomorrow could cause trees to be weakened by previous winter weather, which continues to cause problems in east Texas.
TYLER, Texas — Local tree care services are preparing for tropical squalls hitting Wednesday.
Two weeks into the winter storm, tree services continue to work hard to clear areas of branches or debris that could be more damaged tomorrow due to high winds.
“Right now, there is still tremendous damage to roofing systems,” said Josiah Rosebury, owner of Yosemite Roofing.
Arborist Michael Castle said all trees are susceptible to being blown over by winds at some point, and trees that aren’t routinely maintained can become a hazard.
“With proper pruning, you can actually mitigate this and potentially prevent damage to your home,” Castle said.
And if you have wind damage to your home, it’s best to call a professional roofing and tree care company to ensure your safety.
