Local roofers have cut out their jobs after the recent inclement weather.
Crews have received many calls about wind damage, broken sidewalls and missing shingles, and they are usually busy after stormy spring weather.

Two local roofing companies told WJET their phones blew up after the storm.
“The damage can be pretty big. Depending on where you are, we’ve seen some pretty significant damage from the wind – closer to the lake the wind gets a lot worse,” said Justin Fowler, Pinnacle Roofing & Construction Co.

“A lot of the work we do is fixing bad workmanship and that makes it a bit difficult. Sometimes the roofs aren’t even that old, they weren’t installed properly or by the right crew,” said Andy Vinca, owner of Angelo’s Roofing.
They said if the damage is not repaired in time, it could lead to further and more serious damage.
