SIOUX CITY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT FY23/24 Annual Roof Repairs, Maintenance, and Replacement Projects PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE April 11, 2023 6:00 p.m. local time Location: Educational Service Center 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa The Board of Directors of The School District The Sioux City Community is holding a public hearing of plans, specifications and estimated costs, including architect fees. The district has requested plans and specifications to be provided by FEH Design of Sioux City, Iowa, for the purpose of repair, maintenance and replacement for North Middle School (estimate: $345,400.00) and West Middle School (estimate: $383,900, 00) plus $36,465.00 for the project to be created contingent liabilities totaling $765,765.00. Architectural fees may not exceed $74,000.00. The estimated total cost of the project is $839,765.00 including A&E fees. This project uses sales tax for fiscal year 23 and fiscal year 24. The approved 5-year sales tax budget is $425,000.00 for FY/23 and $450,000.00 for FY/24. Plans and specifications are available for inspection at the Purchasing Managers Office in the Educational Service Center. At this hearing, any interested person may appear and object to the proposed specification, the contract, or the estimated cost of the improvements. By Troy L.
