Warsaw-based Professional Roofing Solutions & Construction LLC., the third largest roofing contractor in Northern Indiana, is hosting a free film event aimed at raising awareness and financial support for families battling the effects of cancer.
Dubbed the 2nd Annual Free Film Day, the event begins on March 25 at 1pm at North Pointe Cinemas in Warsaw. In 2022, the company raised more than $7,000 in the event’s inaugural year.
“We decided a long time ago that if we’re part of this community and make a living here, we’re going to help that very community in the best way we can,” said PRS owner Brandon Blair.
For this year’s event, PRS has once again partnered with North Pointe Cinemas to bring a free film to the community. This year’s offering is Shazam: Fury of the Gods. The film is a sequel to the 2019 film Shazam starring Zachary Levi.
To benefit a local family struggling with the devastating effects of cancer, PRS has partnered with local businesses and community members to raise funds through cash donations and items to be auctioned off at the event in a silent auction.
The film, which will be shown three times in a row, accepts voluntary donations.
PRS is accepting donations of cash or items for silent auctions until March 24 at 5:00 p.m. To participate in the fundraiser, call 574-551-7663.
