Awutu Breku District Police Squad has arrested 47-year-old Nicolas Cudjoe for allegedly stabbing his friend.
The victim, Efo Kokuvi, 63, was attacked when Nicolas snuck into his room in Kwashie-Amabo in the central region’s western Awutu Senya district on Monday evening
According to sources, a friend of the attacker gave Efo two packages of roofing sheets, but Nicolas went to his house to retrieve the goods without his knowledge.
Angered by Nicolas’ behavior, Efo confronted his friend, which led to a heated argument.
Adom News’ Kofi Adjei reported that later that night, Nicolas Cudjoe sneaked into Efo’s room and inflicted cutlass wounds on him.
Victim Efo Kokuvi was taken to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
