NASHVILLE, Tennessee – Holcim Building Envelope, a division of the Swiss Holcim Group, has launched a new acrylic roof coating that can be applied in a single pass.
According to Holcim, GacoFlex A48 retains high film build and a fast cure time (about eight hours, with rainfastness at 30 minutes), one that can be applied “up to 80 wet mils” or five gallons per square foot.
The material is characterized by “a long roof life, improved optics, strong adhesion, high tensile strength and excellent reflectivity”.
