Ian Leigh was formerly Managing Director of Rinus Roofing and under his stewardship he doubled the number of stores from 12 to 24 in seven years, combining growth with profitability.
Burton Roofing Group has promoted Ian Leigh as the company’s new Managing Director. He was previously the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
The Burton Roofing Group, which operates under the Burton Roofing Merchants, Rinus Roofing Supplies and Discount Roofing and Building Supplies brands, operates 38 offices across the UK and employs 450 people.
Former group chief executive Paul Hattee has been appointed vice chairman and will be responsible for mergers and acquisitions activities and strengthening relationships with key customers and suppliers.
