Findings from a new survey by Interplay Learning and Hanover Research show that decision makers in these industries are looking for effective, scalable solutions to help their business grow

In an online survey of 289 plumbing and electrical business decision makers, 90% of electricians and 79% of plumbers say they face some training challenges, with training time, engagement, and results for new technicians among the top concerns.

Plumbing and electrical decision makers are satisfied with the training resources they typically use. Half of the electricians say they are completely satisfied with the on-the-job training and half of the installers are completely satisfied with the training tests. However, the report underscores an industry-wide need for highly effective and scalable training solutions for electrical and plumbing technicians of all skill levels and experience levels.

The report also found that plumbing and electrical companies want engaging and interactive training with opportunities for technicians to practice hands-on in a safe environment.
