APPLAUSE! LCBO OPENS BRAND NEW LOCATION HESPELER ROAD
The much-anticipated LCBO site across from Farm Boy on the square at the corner of Hespeler and Dunbar will open at 10am on Friday March 24, according to its website and a flyer distributed in the mail.
Also near the Cambridge Centre, the new location offers a beer-chilled space, same-day pickup and ample parking, according to the flyer.

BACK TO THE FUTURE WITH ZELLERS FOOD TRUCK
Zellers will re-open in Cambridge on March 23 at Cambridge Centre’s The Bay. But that’s not the only surprise. This Saturday a food truck – Zellers’ Diner on Wheels – drives past the location. Nostalgic items such as “French fries with sauce” are on the menu.

CAMBRIDGE APPLIANCE SALES & SERVICE, INC.
Cambridge Appliance Sales & Service offers the sale and repair of household appliances. According to LinkedIn, co-owner Ian Dietrich has been in the home appliance repair industry for two decades. They opened in February and are located in the industrial corridor along Sheldon Street.
Dietrich said they’re also gas-certified and refrigerated, which isn’t common for many home appliance repair companies. “For example, a compressor sometimes needs to be replaced in a refrigerator. Other companies will generally shy away from such jobs. We can do that and more.”
The sign is scheduled to arrive at their unit before their grand opening, and they’re working on putting their website together, but for now, “we’re slowly getting started,” Dietrich said. Cambridge Appliance Sales & Service is one of 40 businesses that opened in Cambridge last year and have been featured in the Cambridge Times’ New In Town series.

ON BIGGER THINGS: UG DEVICES CONSUMER ELECTRONICS AND MATTRESSES
UG Appliances, formerly at 130 Guelph Ave. based, offers name-brand refrigerators and a wide range of smart TVs that are inexpensive, according to its website and Facebook page.
The company has been in operation for four years and will now move to a larger space on Sheldon Drive within a week to house more inventory and new products, including air fryers, according to owner Umar Gul. New signs are due to be installed at the new location next week, when the doors are expected to open.
