LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., July 19, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., a division of Parts Town and a leading provider of replacement parts and supply chain services for a variety of product brands, today announced Joe Wang was at its first appointed to the position of Chief Strategy Officer.
In this role, Wang will be primarily responsible for maximizing Encompass’s overall customer experience and leveraging new technologies to help the company meet its aggressive growth goals. For the past few years in a row, Encompass has delivered record sales volume and is on track to continue on that trajectory in 2022. Beyond organic growth, Encompass is also integrating with Dayton Appliance Parts, further underscoring the need for a new strategic leader.

Wang has more than 25 years of post-sales product support experience. Prior to Encompass, he was President of In-Home Services for Sears Home Services, the nation’s largest appliance and HVAC product repair service provider.
Wang was also Chief Customer and Strategy Officer at ServicePower, where he helped grow the field service software company into the most widely adopted SaaS platform in the heavy equipment industry in North America and Europe. Prior to ServicePower, he helped turn around Best Buy’s Geek Squad Repair Services group and launched their aftermarket operations. Early in his career, Wang worked at major Ford dealerships in Detroit and Northern California, overseeing parts and service.
